funny face

Elise loves playing with the table that Aunt Leslie brought her. She is obsessed with this table--it plays music and makes noises! She loves it!

Match Day

Here are a couple of pictures from Match Day when I found out that I'm going to be staying at Tulane for a year of internship in Internal Medicine and three years of residency in Dermatology. We are so excited to be staying in New Orleans!

Taking a bath in Nana and Pop's sink

Elise loves her bathtime! At Nana and Pop's house she plays with the same turtle that I used to play with as a baby. In fact, "turtle" was one of my first words because of that toy. Yes, Nana likes to save things that are sentimental to her...

Within a few days of Mardi Gras, Elise became very active--seemingly overnight! She's such a little wiggle worm now and is no longer content being held... she wants to go! In this video she's just figuring out how to slide around on her belly, even though she normally doesn't like to be on her belly...

Elise's first Mardi Gras

Elise passed out after a morning of partying with Uncle Kyle and Papa.

Our family dressed up for Mardi Gras day with a "Save Our Coast" theme. We had a whole school of fish that my aunt made, the guys were fishermen, Elise was a frog, and Nannaine (Anne) was a snowy egret.

This is the cute little onesie that my friend Sandy made for Elise's first Mardi Gras. Isn't it adorable? She wore it when the froggie costume got too hot. Thanks, Sandy!

Mardi Gras weekend

It was so great to hang out with med school friends who came in town for Mardi Gras. Here's Sandy with her son Braylon, me with Elise, and Sara with her son Gavin. It was so fun to see all the babies together!

Now you can clearly see all eight teeth... there's no denying them!
